Greece, a great place to visit

If I had to choose to visit a country I will choose Greece. Greece is a country ubicated in Europe. I think that city is very interesting because was the cradle of ancient Greece, a powerful empire and civilization who actually  some buildings are still standing thousands of years ago. This empire gave rise to great innovations for the current human civilization like philosophy, architecture, science, math, art and the most important was the creation of democracy.

I would like to visit the ruins of ancient Greece and the actual city to appreciate the fusion of modern and ancient architecture. Another place that I would like to visit is very magical and characteristical: beaches are a beautiful place because they have a turqoise waters and an admirable landscape that merges with the city.  In culinary terms the food is usually vegetarian and full of cheese and sometimes they use fish in their preparations, taking advantage of what the sea offers them.
